If you buy the physical copy of the PS4 version of the game, the only way you can take advantage of the free upgrade is if you have a PlayStation 5 console with Ultra HD Blu-Ray disc drive.
However, claiming your PS5 version depends greatly on which PS4 version you own and could be impacted by the PlayStation 5 console you buy. Regardless of whether or not you buy the PS4 version as a physical disc or digital download, the PS5 version you will receive will be digital.
